Christopher Sharp, Head of Scripted

Christopher has more than 20 years' experience in the screen industry.

Most recently he was Head of Scripted at Screen Australia, where he managed the agency's production investment fund for scripted film and television. During his time as Head of Scripted, the fund invested in 66 projects, including Fake, Four Years Later, Austin, Went Up The Hill, Runt and Jimpa. He was also instrumental in raising Screen Australia's minimum license fee for the first time in 11 years, and created a TV development initiative in conjunction with Dynamic Television. 

Previously, Christopher has worked as a story developer and producer, in Australia, the UK, and the US. He was Head of Development at Thumper Pictures and at Revlover Films, and prior to this he was Director of Development at Screen Queensland. In recent years, Christopher also designed and taught two AFTRS courses on script assessment and development.
